Something that never sat well with me about aiming systems......

Each cue has a different amount of deflection

Something that doesn't sit well with me:

Your name is AIMING VOODOO which implies you should be smart enough to know there's no aiming system on earth that includes english as part of its function.

Please, just stop responding to any of this posters threads. He is trolling and people keep falling right into his trap. Just stop.

If your cue is deflecting when you hit center cue ball, you'd better find a new cue or new stroke :D

Give him a min or two -- he'll figure it out.

Capt. Voodoo--- aiming systems are center-ball systems. When you leave the vertical axis--- you're outside the gamut of said system.

Each cue has a different amount of deflection

So then..

If somebody was tolerant enough to put up with this same persona on a table..

And if this same persona was helpful to others..

If you were asked where to aim for a shot with any english, do you just tell them to shoot it and figure they'll miss, or can you adjust their aiming position for the deflection that you don't know the extent of? Or do you just tell them to bugger off because it sounds like it's too difficult for you to do?

Just curious, of course..

I'm sure daz must'be spent time with his instructor, probably on a bar box.... Does that work for ya, pocketpoint?

One system in particular......puts you on the given shot line for a centre ball (down the vertical axis) hit, if you deviate from that line by applying english then that's your baby.

There was a saying on rec.spot.billiard which may or may not have been initiated by my old friend Smorg.
It was called Plonk! See if you can guess what it means.

Even if you run a proxy out of Warsaw, Poland....I will find out.

Pocket point is never allowed here under any name.

Got it?

BTW, hope it isn't too cold yet in Cheektowaga, NY.
