Songs that make you think about pool

That was the brilliance of that movie, on how it time stamped songs with pool in the mind so now every time it's heard, you think of pool.

Another one was Phil Collin's "one more night" which was edited and played so perfectly in the background at the beginning of Color of Money, when Vincent was running out his last rack on John Turrturo's Julian character.

I absolutely loved how that scene played, and everytime I hear that song it reminds me of pool....just as much as werewolves of London.

Loved the intro with 'One more night playing'. Someone else
posted that they loved the soundtrack to TCOM, but for some
reason, probably of the legal variety, they failed to put this
great song on there. 'It's in the way that you use it' by Clapton
is another great one from TCOM and they did manage to put
it on the soundtrack.

Great memories from where I was and what I was doing in the
eighties playing pool come to mind each and every time I here
one of these 3 songs or watch TCOM. Great memories indeed:)

Anything Rod Stewart. Where I started playing, the owner played the Rod Stewart Greatest Hits CD 24/7...
5 years later when I moved away and started playing somewhere else, I found it strangely uncomfortable to play pool without Rod the Bod in the background. Still do sometimes.

new hit coming on

After a long hard search, located a person to weave the last of my cortland
linen into shoe strings for my new pool shoes. I'm sure this song to the
tune of Tan shoes with pink shoe laces will be a big hit with all pool
players. here we go.
I've got pool shoes with linen shoe laces, ivory aglets, man oh man,
I've got pool shoes with linen shoe laces, and a leather chalk holder
on a big rubber band.
