Its sad to say that pool "records" are quite difficult to ascertain.
He told me at DCC that he playes 30-36 weeks a year; often in very tough tourneys (which would mean he placed in the top 3 of about 67-80% of his tourneys against whatever field showed up). Though the exact strength-of-field of Ralf's 236 top 3 finishes is unknown; to me finishing in the top 3 in ANY event of ANY quality that many times still shows tremendous consistency. Ralf has a superior and professional approach to the game.
