Fortunate may be an understatement...very nice cues!!!

Real nice fancy cues there NoShow. Although I have seen several fancy SW cues, I have not seen that particular combo you have. The Szam is a classic. Do you have a preference for playing between the two? I would expect the cues to play quite differently if both shaft sets are original.

There are actually two South West and one Szamboti. I tend to prefer the play of the Szamboti, but this is subjective to individuals.

Thanks for the comments

Here are some additional pictures of the Szamboti

the thing that looks like Gus is the layout but one of the things that looks weird is Gus use to use 6 stitches per ring in allot of his sleeves regardless of layout and Barry likes to balance the sleeve out and i think and uses eight unless asked to do different. it looks like this cue has eight.

old beauty!

That old Szam has a lot of chips in the butt section. I think you better sell it to me for a G-note!:)

What do the SW folk call that malformed diamond inlay? Looks like a cross between a diamond and a mushroom. A dia-shroom inlay? J/K!

I think it's actually just a different take on a spearhead...lol. If it were me I know I would refer to it as a spearhead.

Edit: Actually, on second thought, it looks more like an arrowhead so that's what I'm going with. It's an arrowhead inlay!

I like your Barry cue

The Szamboti is beautiful. It looks to be an older cue made by Barry. Gus usually used 12 ivory dashes in the butt (6 on each side of the main ivory) verus Barry that uses 16 dashes.
Best Regards,
Hal
