Anyone hit with or have hit with a Southeast cue before if so, what is the prevailing opinion of its hit and quality. Someone wants to settle a debt by giving me one and I don't know anything about them....thanks in advance for the help....

se cues

I have a SE titlist conversion and it is a great playing cue. Quality finish and i love their shaft taper. Post a pic if u can.

I have hit a few with one of their SP's. It was a good quality cue in all respects. Not sure what value to place on it since I don't know what they sell for new.

If you like the cue and the amounts are close I would do it.

That is Nat Greens line of cues(Clarksville, Tenn.), Donald Bludworth made a lot of the cues. If you can find one of his for a reasonable price it is a good deal.

They are nice cues, very good playability. They are not exceptionally stiff but have a good solid feel. I play with a shaft Nat made on my Gilbert and my buddy Russ has a really nice SE that plays and looks great.

Gary, you are correct, SD used to play with a very high end SE that was loaded with jewels and ivory. That cue played great, especially for a very ornate cue.

I've owned two in the past and the comment about Bludworth is correct. Played exactly the same (I think they had his propriety pin). You won't be disappointed with the cue and if you want to sell it, PM me some pics and a price, I wouldn't mind owning another SE again.

The secondary market is still high for all SW cues. I am sure you could sell it with out much of a problem if you didnt like the way it hit. I personally like the hit alot.
