Hot Shots has re-opened and is under new management. They have a new look, all new equipment and food available. For tables, I believe the majority of the tables are new Brunswick Centurions and they also have two tight pocket Gold Crown V's which play very nice.

Go check out the new look, and help break in the brand new Simonis.

I believe they will be having 9-Ball Tournaments on Tuesdays starting in a couple of weeks, you can call them for details.

Here is the location:
Hot Shot Cafe and Billiards
6285 Ball Road
Cypress, Ca
(714) 952-1120
Hours:
Sunday - Thursday 10am - 12am
Friday - Saturday 10am - 2am

I'll check it out! :)

I went there yesterday, and it is great playing on brand new equipment. You rarely get these conditions, they also have two tight table Gold Crown V's. Anyone wondering how the V's play, here is your chance.

I'll be in San Diego Monday through Thursday, of next week, and then in Los Angeles Friday and Saturday, before heading to Vegas on Sunday the 11th. Where exactly is Cypress?

Between Anaheim and Long Beach.
Between Mickey Mouse and gangangers.

If you are coming from San Diego, you would take the 405 to the Valley View St exit., take a Right onto Valley View St. then a Right onto Ball. It is located on the Left side. It is in a safe area, hopefully it stays open for a while.

Not too many gangsters in naples, belmont shore, or most of long beach! LOL. Ill be there this week, im super stoked. Sounds like it has come a long way since Cypess "Family" Billiards. With only two tight tables, ill get there early! If they have reasonable rates, ill start playing there, its closer to me than Hard Times.

Tables 1 & 2 are the GC V's. Definitely request one of those tables, they play really nice.

Stopped by today to practice a bit. The room is very nice. Terry the manager introduced himself and his sister (working the counter). The tables are really nice as well, not that it makes any difference to me. I play terrible on any kind of table! :)

I will definitely go back, as it is about half the distance for me from either Hard Times or Danny K's.

Terry did mention that they are going to start having tournaments on Tuesday nights.

I heard next Tuesday it will start at 8pm, and there will be added money.
