Sorry in advance if this breaks any rules but, I just received a message from Pool Dawg billiards about this cue for sale.
Just wondering if this is what you have to pay Southwest for a cue like this now days?

This is plain idiocy. Yet it will sell. Asian collectors have tons of money.

Wonder what that costs today from SW if you are on the list and that's what you select?
That was my question. It’s such a big secret.
They won’t tell you how much until your name comes up. I got in line in 2009 and I expect a call soon. When I got on the list a cue like that was $2,600.

I'll take that spot off you hands if you get in a pinch.

I agree, Laurie is great. Very approachable and willing to chat.
Tell me then. If she called you tomorrow and told you it was your turn, what would she need for that cue?

I can tell ya it won’t be 2600 for a cue like that now

Thats crazy money, i remember too, back years ago. for that design, being around 2.700 and fancy inlaid, ones being big money. And a jerry franklin SW where big money too.

I placed my order for my new Southwest just a few months ago, after waiting 17 years on list. I used ebony and cocobola woods 3 veneers, joint protectors, etc. It was about as much as you can add without ordering additional shafts. My order was close to $7K. I paid 1/2 of the price to get it started, with the balance due when the cue is complete.

Hope this helps.

Nice ... Seems like a fair price for the opportunity to roll a ball across a table

I think i posted this cue not too long ago. I'm suprised that it hasn't sold yet with all the bull shit hype on these cues. I'm not going to be one of these idiots that get on a 20 year waiting list. For the price of that cue I'm picking up a Szamboti a cue I know that will retain it's value.
