Sp 136

Outstanding! What struck me the most was your rhythm and relaxed approach to the table. Great play!

You say ugly but I gotta disagree. If a person gets it done I really don't think it matters what it looks like, and from what I've seen it looks pretty good.

I have only seen half so far, you shoot a real nice game of pool.
if I can ask a couple questions...

how often do you get past 80?
do you play every day, or only once in a while?
how old were you when you started playing?

thx for the video, gonna watch the rest of it now.

Nice run, Duke! Good pace at the table, too. I've always said your table looks like it would be a blast to play on, and you look like you're having fun. I'm envious!

136....

Very, very nice shooting. You are a very strong player. I see that you use your right eye over the cue. Are you right eye dominant? I am left eye dominant but I am right handed. Anyways, once again. Congrats on another great run.

Thanks. Yea, I'm very right eye dominant. I can't get down on the cue like I used to due to chronic pain............2 surgeries on the neck with plates/screws.

I understand about the pain. I too have those problems from an injury to my neck way back in my service days. Not fun....... Some times I wonder if I would play better if I were right eye dominant. I will never know. I have attempted to play with each eye over the cue. It has worked some what but it does not last. So, I just play directly over the cue. Seems to work best for me.

Duke,

Love your delivery. Great pace and nice soft touch at the table. I think you had very good table management. A few troubled areas, but overall your patterns where great. I'd love to know your high run, pm me if you prefer not disclose on forum.

Many years ago I read an article in Billiards Digest (99.5% sure BD) Anyway, in that article it said that since we stand at approx a 45 degree angle to the shot, being cross dominant puts your dominant eye leading your head and in front of your other eye and it's a GOOD thing.

So according to this article it is beneficial. I wish I could find it, but it was years ago and many spring cleanings ago.

I do remember reading a thread covering that subject some time back on the Main Forum.... When I see a guy like Duke, that is so consistent with 100's..... one has to wonder how it would be if they were right eye dominant instead of left.... LOL ....( the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence)...... If you know what I mean.
