I have seen that Sparky is running the road and playing tournaments all over the place, Kansas to Florida.* Has anybody heard if someone is backing him or is he just running the road?

No I'm not but seen Sparky play many times in NC and know he can play strong, just curious. I am a nobody, just a 4 in APA.
 
When he came through SC he was with a guy from Texas (a real *****) who sweated all of his gambling. Not sure if he was staking him though. Sparky let a local buy him into all three of Grady's tournaments though.
 
When he was in Kansas City two weeks ago and won the Midwest 9-ball tournament we was traveling solo and did not get into any gambling action. I mainly practiced and concentrated on the tournament, he did play SVB two cheap races to 11 ten ball on the 9' diamond table, these were very good matches to watch as both players were really plaing well.

Glad I was able to sweat them.

How can you say your playing cue is one of Cameron's, when you purchae two cues every week.:D :D I have that Jon Boster 9-7 last night he won the first two then I won the next eight:) :)
 
I've known Sparky since he lived in Jacksonville, NC. Also, in Raleigh. He put on one of the top five gambling performances I have ever seen. He beat a fellow, Mike Cone, sixteen games in a row for a hundred a game. He, I think, missed only one makeable ball. Oh yeah, for those of you who don't know Mike Cone, he had just taken Earl to "hill-hill." He can play. When he catches the gear, he can play scary. Knock'em in Sparky.
 
At the Mike Betts tournament in Tulsa last weekend, a guy from my home town had him 10 to 6 racing to 11, winner break format& rack your own. Sparky stringed 5 on him to win the set. I guess he plays alright!
 
Now he is in Cape Coral FL. gambling, and he played as bad as I have ever seen.. But he want's a rematch tomorrow.. More info to come..
