ironhead_79

ironhead is the nickname for old Harley Sportsters because the heads were cast iron, 79 is the year Harley Sportster i rode since i was 16, i'm 34 now and still have that bike, will never part with it, no matter how many new ones i get this old one will always be my favorite. my nickname in the club i ride with is Shortcut, when i was a probate for the club, we would go on poker runs etc. and i always would be the first one at each stop, so i earned the name Shortcut, couldn't use it on here, at the time it said it was already taken.

Barrett9ball origin

A good friend and and pool player in the Hagerstown, Md area passed away of an unexpected heart attack several years back at the young age of 39. His name was Brian Barrett. Myself and a few guys put together an annual memorial tournament in his honor. I chose the name obviously because of my close association with running this what seems to be ever growing tournament. I'm very please to say that this years event will be run by the great folks at The Tiger Tour as a points event with $1500 added.

Wow...just wow.

OK ..back to reality. Some are pretty clever and some I have no idea what the hell the the meaning is supposed to be...

How'd you pick it and why?

I was in the US. Army for 23 Yr's, I lived in south Korea for 6 1/2 Yr's. I have been Married to a Korean women for 20 Yr's. I speak, read and write Korean, so basically Korea is my second home.

The word Manwon, comes from the Korean Monetary System and is the word equivalent of 10,000. Which is also the largest Bank Note in the Korean monetary system.

Won, is the Korean measure for money. Korean money is made in the following issues.

BELOW ARE COINS
1 WON OR IL-WON
5 WON OR O-WON
10 WON OR SHIP-WON
50 WON OR O-SHIPWON
100 WON OR BEG-WON
500 WON OR OH BEGWON

BELOW ARE BILLS / PAPER CURRENCY
1,000 WON OR CHUNEN
5,000 WON OR O-CHUNEN
10,000 WON OR MANWON

Well folks that is my lesson in Korean for the day!!!!!!!:D Sorry about it being kinda long and boring:eek: ;)

Have a great night!!!!!!

I've used Chilli & just about every variation of its spelling for the last 9 years or so on various sites & chat systems. It comes from my love of Indian curries, the hotter the better. I was well known for putting ridiculous amounts of chili peppers in them whenever I cooked. Also from eating raw chillies. So it just seemed to be a good choice. The 66 comes from the year I was born.

Arsenius is my confirmation name after Saint Arsenius. He was a monk who lived alone in the desert I believe around 400AD. Some sites won't let me register this name (AOL) because it has arse in it. Ugghh.

My league team friends gave me the nickname, "The Poet" after some attempted inspirational rhyming advice that I sent via email.

No professional writing credits to my name. Maybe if I was a better writer, I wouldn't have to use the :D all the time. :D    :p  :) :D

After a night of playing, I look down at my bridge hand and exclaim.......

OMG I really am green.:D :D :D :D :D :D

Seriously, a greenman is appears in archatecture, literature and art mostly around europe but also around the world. He is a male fertility symbol, and represents natures ability to regenerate. In folk lore he is often potrayed as a god or protecter of the Forest and a consort to the goddess.

In the movie the Davinci code, you can see examples of greenmen on the ceiling in the Roslyn chaple.

I have a tattoo of one on my chest. You can make what ever inferences from that you like.

I got tired of always trying to get a unique user id without it already being taken.

asn130 = Model number of the Inertial navigation system that i worked on while i was in the marine corps. I was an avionics electronics tech.

I only had one dog in my life who I had from a puppy until his death, 12 1/2 years. He was a Siberian Husky named "Billy Koda Rickey". Never again will I own a dog for that long but he was a great, nerve racking, alfa-male, talking back, mind of his own dog.

I found this forum while I was looking for IPT information. They were calling Mike Sigel "Mike the Mouth", so I figured he would not mind if I used his old nickname. I was called "Cap" for a long time before all that anyway, due to my association with Firearms. I was a Firearms dealer for many years, and involved in some not so legal activities.;)

I still like to hunt.

My buddies used to kid me that I bought my shirts from Omar the Tent Maker.
