Spectators that take a seat within shooting range of the table. RANT.

I smoke and since smoking is allowed in pool rooms I'd have zero sympathy for you. If you don't like the smoke you have the option of not going there. BUT, I will say this, if you were to petition the pool hall to go to a no smoking policy, even though I smoke, I would back you 110%.
MULLY

1 or 2 cancer sticks ever 15-20 minutes isn't a big deal. chain smoking is completely different. especially since they always seem to do it in the chairs closest to other people that might be bothered. if there's room to do it away from other people they should

At our Vegas qualifier tournament this weekend we had people all around every table all day. Now of course everyone has a vested interest in how this plays out, but these are all pool players, not hangers-on. (Admittedly league players, but still.) I don't know how many times someone walked through a shot-line on their way to the other part of the room. Or right behind someone down on the ball and ready to shoot.

Yes, the room was more crowded than it would be on any regular day. But again, these people play pool. Yes, it was a challenge to be in a position to watch your team and still be out of the way. But it sure was frustrating to see people have little or no consideration for others playing their "tournament" match.

Ring game pool though, in the KK9 case.

Very different scene than a 1/1 match. Shiat! I played a few where sharking was a part...been hit by chalk/ bottle caps too! And these people are our 'friends' why???
