Speed Pool, what is this Crap?

I met Dave Pearson in Vegas a few years back. Nice guy who was amazing to watch playing speed pool. But he also an outstanding player with a one handed jump shot that was phenomenal. I'm sure YouTube has some videos of Dave.

I personally believe that speed pool is a short term gimmick. I don't have much interest in speed pool or trick shots. However, if it speeds up some of the slugs I play in league, I'm all for it.

Perhaps one-handed speed pool is next, and Dave will be sitting pretty.

For me personally, I'd prefer one-handed speed bank pool.

Geez, I wonder what the correct pre-shot routine is for speed pool.

LOL...you'll have to get a real instructor for that pre-shot routine.

Can't wait to see what style they teach.:nanner:

It's a novelty at best. I hope Boyes doesn't get World ranking points for this Crap. It's probabaly the first 40K tourney he's come close to ever winning?

"Real" pool, no chance.

It's "mildly" entertaining, but it will wear thin..quickly.

I understand promoters trying to come up with something fresh that sticks...this ain't it.

This is what I thought about poker on TV too.

When I first saw it on TV, I couldn't believe it.
