Although Dennis is known as a great player, and he truly is, he is also an excellent teacher. I've seen him spot nuances in a player's game that needed some fine tuning and with a little nudge here or a slight shift there, viola, they are playing better. Dennis notices things that most of us would miss, including me.

Ha Ha, the aircon is in good working order now, so that should be no problem. We had one last minute cancellation so there is an opening for someone. Too late for a reservation so just come to Tiger at 175 W. Magnolia in Burbank at 1 PM tomorrow and you will have a spot. Dennis is giving a private lesson now and he is a great instructor!
Jay, I wanted to thank you, Dennis, and Tony for the wonderful afternoon. I only wished it could have gone on all night.
I really enjoyed Tony’s tour of the Tiger factory. Seeing what goes on behind the scenes in the manufacture of Cues, Shafts, and Tips was fascinating. His explanations were insightful, and surprisingly, mirror some of what goes on in my profession. His passion for the sport and quality of his product is refreshing in today’s throwaway world. The hit on the XPro shaft was very nice and did not seem to take much adjusting from what I was using. Having a 9’ Diamond to play on was not bad either!
Dennis, wow, what a gentleman! Does the guy ever miss? We are blessed to have a Pro in our sport, who is so willing to spend some time imparting his vast knowledge of the game with those of us who are lucky to string a few balls together. Running a rack of 10 Ball, while alternating shots with him, will forever be etched in my mind, the resulting smile probably won’t leave my face too soon either! Anyway, that will probably be the closest I will ever come to what it must feel like to shoot like a pro. Dennis, I thank you for that wonderful experience, and I really appreciate all your advice. I imagine for better players it is mundane, but for me to have a Pro show me where he wants the cue ball wind up, how many rails, and how much English and speed to get there, was absolutely priceless. I could not be more thrilled with the day!

Hope you had a good flight home. My son had one of the best days of his life, buying his first car an hour before getting to the event really started out the day on a positive note. I spent today practicing some of what I learned and putting the shirt Dennis signed and a couple of pictures in a frame in my pool room. Maybe we will cross paths again sometime, if Dennis does this again I would jump at the chance to go again. Take care, Steve
