If you're a regular on the Tri-State tour, then you are surely among those I've met and I thank you for your past kindnesses, courtesies, and camaraderie. Though I am a former winner of the Tri-state "A" Invitational, I am simply not the player I once was, and I will accept your judgment that you play above me, and will consequently decline your challenge.

In this thread, Junior, you called me a jackass, and I must admit, I feel like one, for I did not wish to upset you with my post, and I obviously did. So I hope you'll forgive me, and if you already know me, I hope you'll shake my hand the next time you see me so that I may greet you as a friend.

He's too much of a gentleman to respond the way we would all like him to. To be honest, it's the way to be, just difficult at times to find that level of tact.

I was wrong and I apologized. It is sad if you come from a place where such a course of action is so shocking that you feel compelled to attack and make light of its sincerity.

By the way, I don't sell cars for a living. Can't help you with that one.

Shame on u and u did not reckon a fellow Brit.Brits are well known to be very diplomatic and SJM being Brit continuing the tradition.I will assure u that SJM does not talk or act like a car salesman.In USA it is a kind of insult to call some one a used car salesman.He is a very dignified gentleman.Cheers

No need for you to apologize for anything, Junior. I could have done a better job with my post, and the apology I offered you was necessary. You sound like a good guy, and I hope our paths will cross soon. Like I said, if you know me, I hope you'll say hi next time you see me. Although I nearly never compete anymore, I do like to show up to some Tri-state events to sweat the matches, cheer for those who play well, and shake the hand of the winner. I try not to make it a habit of jumping in but sjm is a class act and obviously there was a misunderstanding.
