Sponsorship

Sponsorship for what might help:wink:

i'd assume that he specializes in artistic billiards and trick shots.......

he may want to put out a youtube video displaying his skill sets and perhaps include a list of accomplishments.

I think you have a ways to go to before you are sponsorship worthy. Cool thing is: you're really young and have plenty of time to get better. Not saying you're bad or anything (pretty freaking good for your age!), you just need to put in more time.

Also, don't use snooker balls... EVER. Keep using those regulation balls. One of your fellow trickshot artists uses them. Although he is phenomenal, the snooker balls take away from me being super impressed.........

Keep relentlessly practicing, you'll get there :)

I'm still a little lost as to what kind of sponsorship you're hoping to get. I can see that you can masse the cue ball, great for your age, but can you run a rack of 10 ball?, if so, can you run 2 racks in a row? I was at a customers house once a long time ago changing the cloth on a Diamond 7ft ProAm and a Diamond 9ft ProAm. I had already recovered the 7ft and was working on the 9ft when the youngest boy of the family came downstairs and asked me if the 7ft was done, to which I replied, yes. He then racked the balls up to practice playing 9ball, to which he broke and ran 6 racks without a miss...when his mother called him upstairs to eat dinner...he was 11 years old, and the 7ft ProAm had 4 1/2" pro cut corner pockets. If HE was asking for sponsorship....I was all in!

One thing. I shoot trick shots. And yes I can run you a rack of 10,9,8 ball rack if my break lives me a decent shot at the first ball.

I'm Asking for money to pay my entry fees at Worlds Artistic Pool Championship an other tournaments. Also for buying a masse cue.

I think it's great that you're serious about your trick shots....but I really think you need to develop a little more before thinking you're ready for a world championship event. Its one thing if your family or friends pay for it, its another to ask strangers to. Kids these days tend to want it to be a instant gratification world.

It will be interesting how you take everyone's advice from a public forum. It would be great to see you still posting and playing a couple years from now. That will tell all of us, and you, if your serious about this.

Sent from my phone. Lucky you, you get the abbreviated version. :D

don't listen to anyone who tells you not to chase your dream! just do your thing, and if you don't win, then keep on trying until you do!

good luck!

Ideas

I'm looking for sponsors. Cash or equipment( other equipment besides cues) Any ideas ??

Sure, I have a few. Our local one handed trick shot artist, Jesse Allred, (check out his youtube stuff if you haven't already) is sponsored by Kamui tips and Family Leisure. Family Leisure sent him a table. Our 9 year old pool player (at the time), Jontel Baritua, was on the Regis and Kelly Lee show, the Today Show, and several other national tv shows. John at Kamui tips might be interested, and I would think that there are other billiard related companies who would be interested in the exposure. It's not like you're asking for a million dollars-just some entry fees and a cue. Your sponsorship won't come from a table mechanic, even the best one on earth, so keep doing what you're doing and PM me the cost of a masse cue.

Didn't we already clarify this? Just because the balls are red and black doesn't mean they're smaller. Please quit sharing inaccurate information, as it takes away from the respect that he deserves (although I do appreciate that you kept his name anonymous).

Here's the link to where we bought the balls (note the 2.25" specification): http://www.muellers.com/Black-Belgian-Aramith-Cue-Ball,426.html
