kinda depends on how bad your hands sweat. mine don't so it lasts a long time. great feel. i'm using sp. bull currently but am going to put cork on soon.Would like to try it. How durable is it though? I know it lasts quite a while on fishing rods.

Guess earl will never reach a high level. Thinks SVB did it for bit as well. Also used electrical tape, which is kind of like a sport wrap.Earl had tennis racket tape on his cue, possibly still does
Is that a thin rubber wrap? Those come in several different thicknesses, with the thinnest being less than a millimeter. They're not permanent so they're easy to try. Pretty much every top carom player uses one.... The "sleeve" wraps like longoni are not the same.
Don't know if this will interest but here's what I've done for the last year. I wrap the handle are with self fusing silicone tape. One roll will get you at least 2 applications depending on how long you make it.I realize most people hate these things but is there anywhere to buy a wrap similar to what you would find on a predator sport cue?

It doesn't last forever but if you wipe/clean it occasionally you'll get a while out of it.
If you're interested search on "Nashua Self-Fusing Silicone Tape" on amazon.
I really think the different opinions on this subject come from people having different skin. My skin is pretty dry, especially in the winter. Someone that has more moisture in their skin no doubt would hate this, I think it's just right.
Anyway, it's a cheap thing to try, it's like 7 dollars on amazon for a roll.
Did you ever try one of the silicone rubber sleeves? I see that most of the ones offered are textured. I prefer smooth -- still plenty of grip.... I wrap the handle are with self fusing silicone tape. ...
Never tried the tubes. I kind of like the rib created by doing a tennis wrap style wrap. Might be worth a try though.Did you ever try one of the silicone rubber sleeves? I see that most of the ones offered are textured. I prefer smooth -- still plenty of grip.
At one time I used these latex tubes. They last a couple of months each.

"Vulcan Grips" and "Lizard Skins" look interesting. Made for baseball bats.I realize most people hate these things but is there anywhere to buy a wrap similar to what you would find on a predator sport cue?
