Squatting CB on 8 & 9 Ball

I'm having a problem with squatting the cb when playing either 8 or 9 ball.
Is there a drill or something I can do to solve this?
I can do a stop shot with no problem on a normal shot. So I'm assuming that its because I'm not doing something correctly.
I did a search here and couldn't find anything, I would think someone else would have asked or disscussed it but I couldn't find it.
Thanks

i heard shane uses that "breakrack" if you have your own table it's a good option. or if you have a son or daughter make them rack for you! that's something my parents would have done

I was also gona suggest the breakrak...

1 way thas been kinda helping me at the moment is to take it in steps......

Set the cb where you usually break from. hit the head ball deadpunch center...at a mdeium soft speed..half tip above center. hard enuff to get it to stop.....hit that bout 5 racks.

Then move on to medium hard hard stroke.... tip above center dead center of the head ball.... bout 5-10 more racks or however many it takes to get consistant with a straight stroke to hit the cb in hte right place and hte headball in the right spot...

Finally move on to the hard fast stroke.......in the same spots on hte cb and headball........

Its mainly to get used to hittin the Cueball in the right spot to stop it and hittin hte headball headon center to practice the squattin......

basically the key thing is to hit the head ball as square as possible and striking the cue ball ABOVE centre. as the cb hits the head ball it bounces back, so when it makes contact with the cloth again you want it to be spinning forward in order to stop it in the middle of the table.

the trickiest thing is getting the right amount of follow on the ball depending on how hard you are hitting the break.
