Stacking the diamonds aiming system (fractional)

I saw this video series (3 in total) some time ago and tried it out a bit.
Its a fractional aiming system similar in some aspects to poolology but with simpler calculations when it comes to shots that are up to 5 diamonds on the long rail.

its worth to have this as a fallback just to verify that what you are aligning to is correct but as with other fractional systems there are in between angles that are not covered.

The idea in the video is that you take one positional value of the object ball and one alignment value of the line crossing object ball and cue ball and you add/subtract fractions (setup same to poolology)

I have bought the poolology book and for some time i have tried to simplify the calculations. This seems a nice way towards it

I briefly watched the video. He way oversimplifies things and at the same time he does a bad job of explaining what he's doing. I think if you follow him, you will get in the right ball park, but you will have to trust your experience to put the ball in the pocket, as with all systems.

When he gets to talking about the halfball hits, he is 100% using the Poolology method, which tells me he has likely seen the book or maybe a few of my videos. In the book, I call what he is doing using "an alignment scale". I'm glad he credits the Poolology system, and I'm glad it has helped him refine his aiming in his own way.
, more or less.

... but where are the royalties?

I don't understand how it's easier to see the aim lines and pocket lines and add and remember the overlap than it is to see the ghost ball roughly opposite the pocket.

Depends on the player I suppose. I think aiming is a combination of everything a player knows and uses.
