Stan demonstrated one five shot possibility. The fact is that what he demonstrated is possible from just about everywhere on the table.

But that went over your head. I don't care how much you practice in your basement Stan and any proficient CTE user will beat you in any head to head live competition where you randomly place balls and make them into as many different pockets as possible. I am certain of that but we both know such a competition will NEVER happen as you refuse to leave the basement.

I don't think you're accurate here. I knew some great players who lived by a 'system' of aiming.
It probably wasn't titled CTE.....but Wimpy Lassiter had a system of aiming with his black line on the ferrule of the cue. He played pretty good.
Danny Jones used the quarter system...he was always lining up half ball and then shifting with his bridge hand to the perceived angle target if the half ball hit wasn't dead on. Danny played pretty good too
Even Willie Mosconi (who played pretty good) wrote in one of his books...."all shots can be calculated mathematically so we will leave nothing to chance". Was he lying?
Absolutes, like you've tossed out, should be tempered with a little moderation.

Anyone can dictate whatever they want. Whether they get it or not is another story. It's my money so I can decide where I want to put it into play. If anyone thinks I am not serious post the money and bet me $1000 on whether I freeze up my end of it or not. I am not opposed to going to STL. But get someone to post 20k on Lou first. I have zero interest in going there where the best I could do is break even.

If I had 50k, 100k or more liquid I would bet it all on myself. Lou doesn't scare me in the least. The only opponent capable of beating me in a Lou/John match is myself.

I have suffered nothing...."this aiming shit" has been great for my game and through it I have met hundreds of great people IN REAL LIFE since I actually don't spend all my time locked in a basement pretending to be a good player.

Stan has helped hundreds of players in real life and tens of thousands through the internet. Again, take a bunch of CTE users and throw out random shots. Let one CTE user figure out the "key" and then transmit it to all the other ones and I am pretty sure most of them will make the shot in a couple tries at best. The better users will likely make most of the shots on the first try.

Get a bunch of feel players and do the same thing. The first thing you will notice is that there is no "key" to transmit. The second I predict is that the make rates will be far lower for the feel players.

Now do the same for GB. The "key" is the same for all shots...find the GB and replace it, correcting for throw. I predict that the make rates will be far lower with this group as well.

If my predictions come true what would your explanation be for the results?

He showed a bunch of kids a line on his ferrule and now, 60 years later, you vouch for that being an aiming system. That would hardly hold up in court.

On the other hand, my father, a full grown adult and seasoned pool player at that time, had a detailed conversation with him in the 1960's about exactly how he aimed. Hint: It had nothing to do with a line on his ferrule, and you'd be disappointed at most of the answer.
