My Harbor freight gray framed $20.00 stapler has served me well but it is starting to have feed problems. I went back to harbor freight to find out the hard way that the newer stapler with the red color is not the same and doesn't take 1/2 crown staples even though the box says it does.

Some of the guns I have found have those dang safety plungers on them.

What is another gun recommendation?

I am willing to spend money for a quality gun.

Must be pneumatic.

I use the HF grey framed shooter and have one for back up. As glen suggested' repairing the HF grey framed is simple.
If I was to order a new shooter I'd purchase a grex.

That is stapler Al Conte liked. I used one for 10 years or so. I switched to the 1/2 crown and I am happy with it. Donny....I have a half dozen or so of the 3/8 crown duofasts. You are welcome to have one so you can try it out and see if you like it.

I didn't realize it was 3/8", but thanks for the offer. Have you used the 3/8 for pockets?
