State Games of America

The State Games of America is an Olympic style event for junior athletes with many different games, billiards/pool is not one of them. I have emailed them and asked them about adding billiards. They got back to me right away. I was told they tried it for one year and they only had 9 states represented and 39 total participants. I have since emailed them links to other national tournaments with the total participants for each tournament. They said that they would talk to the commissioner. I am wondering if anyone else would be interested in sending an email about this or know anybody at the State Games of America. Here is the link to their website. https://www.stategamesofamerica.com/

I wonder if they ever contacted the BCA or any of the league systems.

I reached out to the VNEA to contact them. The VNEA Junior National tournament holds a singles, doubles and 3 man team. Which that is what i figured would be something close to what the Olympics would do with billiards.

Sounds to me like they should be in contact with the BEF (Billiard Education Foundation) more than with the BCA. The BEF is almost exclusively concerned with young pool players. They can be reached at this email: info@billiardeducation.org .
