Stats -- Siming Chen vs. Donny Mills Challenge 10-Ball, May 2018

Those are interesting stats but not everything shows up in stats. For example her kicking game was a big reason she won. If the match was on youtube where you can begin the video at the exact point I'd post a few examples.

Once I saw her with a one rail kick and she chose the two rail kick instead to get the angle she wanted to kick safe. In rotation games at that level kicking frequently determines the winner. They can all run balls.

I thought his post was sarcasm, so did not respond.

Not at all. I know I wouldn't feel that great if it was my normal 11am and I had been up all night.

Jason<-----got home many days after 11am in Vegas and felt great......till I woke up :grin-square:

I meant Mike's posted that you quoted. Seems to me if she played all day then 11am China time she would have been up all night if in China. I honestly do not know how players do it when half way around the world. I would forfeit and go to bed.

The Asian Culture Day event started on Wednesday, so she had been here for a while. But, yes, the transition must be difficult.

China is 15 hours ahead of from Vegas. A rule of thumb is that it takes about a day for each hour of jet lag. There’s no knowing what her jet lag strategy was, e.g. when she arrived, when she’d go to bed each night, when she’d wake up each day, mid-day naps, etc. Regardless, assuming she had some jet lag kicking in is probably a fair assumption to make.

We were both tired for sure. We started the match at 11 pm Vegas time. I’m from Florida and that’s 2am for me. I go to bed at 1am Florida time and I’m a creature of habit. I thought we both played good for how tired we were.

I was rooting for you.

I have yet to watch the match but hope to some time soon. I did not think about the time difference for you as well.

You are one of my favorite players and I am glad you contribute to the forum. From the stats posted it looks like you both played well.
