Stay away from this place!

I guess that's why cues are not allowed on planes any longer. The utter disregard for human life amazes me.
 
Russian mafia?????

Sounds pretty sketchy, that might just have something to do with outside influences, not just pool. Some bad people out there, for sure.

ACK!

I was so ticked off when I had to find a way to squeeze my cue case into my check-on bag for an hour long flight, then got in line for security and about ten people ahead of me, there is a woman with a stick horse being allowed through! :angry: :angry: :angry:

At the time, the cue I had wasn't very expensive from a monetary standpoint, but I sure wouldn't risk damaging it by using it as a weapon...

wow! When I first move to the city, I lived 3 blocks down from this place. Played their once in a while but when it got late..... I always felt the need to leave. Wasn't a very friendly place.
 
Judging from the locals comments under the story it sure sounds like a Russian Mafia thing.

I hear Travis Trotter plays there.

TT Isn't he the guy who got a whole bunch of rep the first couple weeks he was here and no one pays any attention to him?
 
travis trotter is my cousin and he would never go to a scary pool hall like that one he beat my uncle his dad this week for the first time and that's something for all the family to celebrate so we went to a club but we had to play with rack cues because we didn't bring our cuetecs on account of there being six of us in the car the bar food was good and travis potted five balls in a row and all of them were down the rail wish we'd brought the video camera then we could have posted it on here and all his friends could see how well he played i think he might be worth backing in the us open enjoy your pool folks and goodnight.
 
I haven't been to that place in ages! I went to Brighton Beach by myself to get some sun some years ago and I took my pool cues to the beach with me cause I wanted to shoot some afterward. The place had the crappiest tables ever! I don't know if they since renovated but yuck yuck yuck! I would've shot better with balls on the hot sand!
