Without telling the whole story about this job, I'm mostly just going to post some pictures to do the talking. But, I will say this, the pocket plates are the best way in the world for finishing off the pockets with out using staples.

Now...I believe that is without doubt a very good fix for diamond pro tables.
A lot of work....but I think that will fix those tables better than they come from the factory.
The frame can support the leveling system.....can't on the smart tables.
I love the pockets....now that's a great idea.....that's enough smoke up your ass....you still can't touch me on rails...LMAO

That's some hard work...and you did it well.....congrats on that idea....very good one.

Please tell me that's not him.....LMAO......that guy in the pic looks like he can make a ball hit a rail....LMAO

Looks like Glen did a great job on your table.......man you can't let that man play on the table when he's done......he'll wear the rails out....LMAO

Just playing.....good job Glen....but please don't do anymore pics of you playing...LMAO

Very nice Glen. I wasn't expecting it but I ordered two Professional's and when they came in, they had this system. Its nice to see you guys at Diamond are constantly looking for ways to improve the product. I remember about 4 years ago when you started cutting the one piece slates and using this system, funny how now this system in now being used on the stock Diamond tables.

I haven't done one of these installations yet, but I'm guessing I should use the same stands and 2x4 setup that your using, for matching the seams?

thanks.

No, the seams from the factory should already be matched up and just have to place the slates on the frame of the table, slide them together, and screw them together, but if not, the seams can be shimmed flat while the slates are on the table.

Ok Sir before you get too critical of the selected still photos may I point out that while you were attaching the pockets to the frame I was shooting HD video. These videos will not ever make it to the public eye, in case you feel I have no human decency :rotflmao:

Hope you guys made it home in time to make everyone happy!! Sorry about my wife cooking up your cat.:sorry: He was delicious though, you have to admit!

And your wifes cooking was great, in fact I told her...we need to find another cat....and get that reciepe from your wife:grin-devilish:

I now know

where some of my missing tools went. They show up on RKCs jobsite photos after he was just here??? getting retooled??!!!

Nice work Glen

Glen, any reason that router jig you made, to install leveling wedges, wouldn't work on an older pre-leveling system Proam with the frame liner in place bolted to the table?

Yes, I can actually install the wedge leveling system in any ProAm that didn't already come with it or any other type of table for that matter.
