Or it could just be that Shane is a freaking monster. Seriously, when he is on, his game is above all of the others. His statistics in every streamed match are ridiculous. He literally runs out as much as other players win. At one time, I believe AtLarge posted a compilation of SVB's matches and he was running 50% break and runs. This was not even imaginable 15 years ago.
