Here's another example of the blue veneer, in a less flashy pair of cues.

These cues were made by George for 2 brothers. The brown and blue are reversed in the points.

Wow...great cues!

Steve has made some Bushka tribute cues for some very well known collectors.

My cue has a touch of Szam...but Steve's touch mostly.

If I could recommend anything to anyone, I would say point Steve in the direction you like---and then let Steve take over, and you'll love it. My cue ended up with a sleeved ivory joint, pure silver dots, and awesome ring work...which I wasn't sure about at first, and now wouldn't trade for the world, LOL.

BUT still a nice cue!

THE WRAP IS CERTAINLY NOT BUSHKA-ESQUE, NOR IS THE PHENOLIC JOINT. TO BE HONEST I WOULDN'T HAVE CALLED THE CUE A TRIBUTE, BUT IT DOES HAVE A CLASSIC STYLE TO IT.

THE WINDOWS, THE BULE VENEERS, AND EVEN THE BLACK BUTT (I'VE NEVER SEEN BLACK DELRIN THOUGH) WERE THINGS THAT WERE DONE.

Looks to me like the boxes are recut inlays. Are they? As far as I know there are three ways to do the boxes, stacked, mitered, and recuts. The cue is solid in design and craftsmanship.
