so i just wanted to put this out there. i have been dealing with steve for about two and a half years now. at first it was new tips, then shaft cleanings, then a wrap. now he's made a new shaft for my girlfriends cue (holy s*it does that old f*cking cue play and look like new) and i received my jump cue from him last night. all i can say is that steve has turned out to be one of my favorite people. i don't spend a ton of cash with him but he treats me like i was his biggest customer. i don't have his knowledge of cue making or the game, but he spends a ton of time talking to me about both. we are not best friends but we have talked about where we are from and family and just shot the s*it in general. he is a good guy who does amazing work and his customer service is great. him and few other guys spent about a half hour last night just b.s.ing with me and showing me different jump shots and shots in general. i told steve i would put a review of the cue up today but i felt i wanted to do more than just review the cue. it is documented all over az how they jump. the are great. i sent the cue ball length of the table twice and jumped over two balls - the first about six in. away from the cue, the second about six away from the 1st and landed about a foot behind the second ball - with almost no effort. i wanted to let everyone know that if they need anything done to thier cues - especially if you're in this part of GA. - or if you want a custom made, you should at least talk to him and think about having him do wahtever you need. just felt i owed him this. thanks mr. lomax.
