These names really take me back! I remember Howard Vickery and his titanium break cue. I can't believe he's in the top three of the tournament.
Ray Martin is always a threat, as is Buddy Hall. I've never had the opportunity to play Buddy Hall, but I've seen him enough to know I don't want any part of him.
JAM, thanks for the update! The next tournament I'll be at will be Derby City, will you and Keith be there?

JAM said:Hi, Jim. How about that Howard Vickery! Nice score, 10 very large. The payouts looked great, paying 32 spots in the field. Congratulations to one of pool's veterans who still packs a mean punch.
Keith and I are planning on attending the DCC, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Hope to see you there. As you know, there will never be a dull moment. Make sure you get some sleep before you go. You'll need it to keep up with the non-stop pace of the Derby City Classic. Action everywhere, mini-tournaments upstairs, vendors galore, and in the tournament room, there will be an abundance of tournament matches by many players from all over the world. Always a good time at the DCC!
