Steve's Black Boar Caps with Scrimshaw by World Renown Scrimshaw Artist Bob Hergert.
Added the stars in the design to balance out the staggered BB's.
I hope you like them Steve... Thanks....

Bob has done Scrimshaw Art on many Cues made by the greatest Cuemakers, that are owned by many of the Collectors.

Thanks for working with me Bob...:p

Oh...wow. Absolutely awesome collaboration between you and Mr. Hergert, Alton. You consistantly raise the bar on JP's. Want to make me a set of JP's for my new ST to match the ones you made for my other one? :-)

OK, I remember A LOT of very nice joint protectors here, but this... I mean there's absolutely nothing that comes anywhere near this one!

Top notch, #1, perfect, stellar, elegant, awesome... these words are all useless to describe this set.

The Caps

Here's the photo of the caps before the Scrimshaw Artwork.
I would like to say, that, the Logo is not for Identification.
The Logo is part of the design of the cap.
IT is not meant to be seen as trying to be Tony's (Black Boar Tony) Cap.
THIS would make it a FORGERY.
Same as my TAD STYLE Caps.
I'm making them match Tad Cues, not trying to make them as Tad Caps.
I hope everyone aknowledges that. Thank you...

LOL I'm just a poser. I pretend to be a collector. I haven't had more than 4 cues at a time in years. I've had to pick 'n choose my poison. I've been priveleged enough to own 5 Sugartrees in my day...but sadly...these are my only two presently. I buy cues as a way to sock away money. When I need the loot, I bite the bullet and sell a cue...because I know I can always get the $$$ I need from them. When I have some extra duckets lyin' around...I buy a cue before I spend them on something else. I never sell a cue to buy a cue though. I've done a real good job of hanging on to pinky so far...even though I've been tempted to sell her when some real generous offers have been made.
