This is a cue I shipped out on the 13th of August. It was scanned in Knoxville tn leaving out and No scan since! ! Over two weeks. .... yea stolen. If you see this cue, Call Me ! My number is on my site, russellcustomcues.com.Then call police if you want. I pity the idiot if its still around the area.

Stolen Cue

Yes, let us know what the destination was... maybe it was stolen when it arrived somewhere... by your scan info, it left Knoxville, but it might show up where you were sending it. USPS... I had a Nikon disappear with them... inside job?
 
Which cue is it?

The cue in the bottom photo is different. The points are different (no inlays) and the wrap is different.

This may help as you posted photos of two different cues.

Looks like the same cue, just pre-inlays
 
The cue was headed to California. It still hasn't arrived and USPS... wait for it.....denied the insurance claim, so I'm appealing.

They denied the claim? What did they claim the problem is? I suppose their excuse is because the cue can not be found that you can not prove its stolen???:angry:
Unbelievable!! Why even offer insurance if they deny all of the claims? This seems to be a pattern with USPS.

Well, knock me over with a feather, the cue was just delivered! ! 18 days later !!!! Why the hell did i use 2 day priority ?! I might sleep tonight. Usps ulcers. But now i know the insurance is just about useless.

That's great news.

I'm sure they would have honored the insurance, as stated earlier there is likely a grace period you have to wait before they pay a claim. You just filed prematurely (prematurely for their standards).

It's in the fine print. You need a microscope to read it. Luckily my list shipment showed up just under the 30 day mark.

There is no best way to ship. USPS and FedEx both have sent me destroyed packages recently.

The FedEx box was Ham Radio equipment that had tire marks and a hole from a fork lift prong.

I have not tried DSL. UPS seems to be the lesser of the evils.

The best success so far is letting an independent UPS store pack and ship. Zero problems so far.

Glad to hear the cue found its way to the new owner. How late was it compared to their expected delevery time for the shipping option? Did they offer a refund for delivering late?
