Asking for help from my cuelovers out there. Had sent my cue to Dennis to get some work done. Getting dolled up, caps, new shaft, new wrap. Time came and it was finished. Dennis shipped the cue overnight and it only was on 1 truck between West Palm Beach and Columbia, SC. When it arrived, the box was ripped open and the cue stolen. I am more mad about the loss of the cue itself than the loss of the money(a considerable amount). But if you could fellas, please keep an eye out for me and let me know if you seebthis cue for sale anywhere. I will gladly pay a reward for info that helps me get my baby back. Dennis actually added a little something to it to dress it up some. I wish I had him send me pics now. Would have loved to have seen the caps he made for it.

Sorry to see this happened. I experienced something similar a few years ago with two collectible light sabers -- I was home watching the package tracking data the whole time. To my surprise the mailman only left a "missed delivery" note at my door without knocking, and I had to pick it up at the post office. When I came to pick up the box, the post office had the nerve to make me sign for an obviously ripped open and empty box. Afterwards USPS tried to deny my insurance claim stating that they did not receive the claim evidence within the allowed time frame (the post office actually sat on the materials for more than a month to deliberately miss the deadline). Eventually I got the insurance money, but the shipper had underinsured the package, so I was left short about $1k USD.

I'd also suggest calling pawn shops in your area to keep an eye out for that cue, just in case the thief tries to offload it given its distinct nature.

Unfortunately, someone probably googled the sender's name and quickly learned the package could have an expensive cue in it. Once they got it home and researched it, they learned how unique, valuable and recognizable it is. My guess is they are looking for an oversees buyer. Definitely get those pics out to as many FB pool cue sites as possible so word spreads around to notify the rightful owner if they see it posted, or someone offers it for sale through messaging. I'm thinking someone at the carrier had to be involved.
 
Horrible news to hear. My first suspicion is a local theft around West Palm. Dennis' name could be known to employees of the carrier, sort of like that high end watch maker whose name escapes me...been a few high profile thefts from racing drivers recently.

I'll keep an eye out...one positive at least is that cue is certainly unique.

That’s crazy can’t even overnight and be safe now

This thief will likely be caught , hope the cue is found and undamaged

They literally cannot sell it or play with it so it’s worth far more trouble than money they’ll find
