How about some cheese with that whine?

Typing words into a computer to be viewed on a message board about billiards will accomplish nothing!

Start a grassroots movement at your local pool hall to promote the game, and all it's riches it has to offer.

And if I see you back here typing about how to better promote the game, I consider your efforts a failure.

I'll be out stapling posters onto telephone poles, hitting the streets with a megaphone on a soapbox, getting the word out on a local level, ending with a national tour.

Who's with me!@#

Ah, where to start .....

If I post here to say "I'm with you", doesn't that make me just another typer in this great game of forums ?

Don't you think that the criticisms leveled at Kevin Trudeau and the IPT on this board had some effect on their behaviour ?

Talking about ways to improve is an admission of failure ?

Isn't stapling posters onto telephone poles illegal in your area ?

Aren't you a little heavy to be standing on a cardboard box ?

What national tour ?

What nation ?

Dave, curious about all this talk

this game has saved my sanity, kept me sober, helped me stay out of so many bad situations and provided hours of joy. i'd love to give something back buti don't know how. where im at people only play because it's something else to gamble on. i don't even think they like to play. i was thinking about opening up a decent pool hall but i'd really like to take some business classes to make sure i don't bite off more than i can chew

I don't know... I just like to play once in a while. I'm not looking to be the next Samuel Gompers.

I checked out an APA League and didn't like it because no one sticks around to manage the night.

I prefer BCA leagues.

I think you'll find they like the game or they would be sitting on their duffs playing poker...
