You're right, as storing the slate standing on end keeps it weightless so to speak. Slate stored flat can and will pick up the level of the floor, or what ever else it's layed down on over time.pip9ball said:Im not a table mechanic, but I think the best way to store slate would be on it's side, preferably in a crate.
