Can a cue be stored in fire safe that uses a Dri-Rod to keep out humidity?

I am not sure, but I was told to get a safe that has the same humidity as the room. Would be interested to know also.

Humidity is just as bad for wood if it is too low as it is if it is too high.

Furniture will begin to loosen and fall apart below 25%.

I keep my shop between 40 and 55 percent.

You might measure the humidity where you are going to store your cue before you put it there.

I have a Liberty gun safe and it came with a dehumidifier that I plug in every so often to recharge. It has all kinds of settings and tells humidity level and temperature. If humidity gets bad it beeps..Then I just plug it in to recharge. I been keeping cues inside for 10 years now without any issues.. I also heard a guy say he kept a box of bakeing soda in his safe. LOL Dont know if its enough but he said he has no problems. << ED
