The storm is designed to do both shafts as well as butts and inlays points etc,
the lighting is designed to just do shafts,
Lee
will correct me if I am wrong

How is the Storm different from the Lightning?

I'd like to revisit this, since there was never a definitive answer, and it looks like the Storm is going to cost about $4K more than the lightning. Not trying to discredit anything you are doing Lee, I'm just curious what the differences are. It looks like maybe the Storm is 4 axis? Are there any other differences?

Thanks for getting back to this Lee! I know you're a busy man, so I'll try and put in the exact information that I (and hopefully others, so I'm not the only one busting your chops here) would like to see.

The Breeze has true 4-axis capability out of the box along with inlay programs included, correct?
Travel:
x:12"
y:5.5"
z:6"
Currently:$2995

The Lightning is a 3-axis capable tapering machine, along with tapering programs, but no router included?
Travel:
x: ?"
y: ?"
z: No z-axis movement
additional stepper included to turn lathe head: ? RPM capable. Could this be used as a 4th axis rotary table, or would that not work?
Currently: $1995 + accessories

The Storm is a true 4-axis capable full length cue router/mill, along with Kress router, tapering and inlay programs included?
Travel:
x:?"
y:?"
z:?"
4th axis rotary head included
Currently: $6500

If you could fill in the travel dimensions, and correct me on the programming/descriptions where I'm wrong I think I can get out of your hair. I'm excited about the things you are coming out with, and I think between you and Cueman, it's becoming easier for us to have a very capable shop in a small amount of space.

Thanks again!
