Straight Pool at the European Championships

Line just beat Jasmin in the semifinal, 75 - 55.

This is the third time they have met in a semifinal during the last three European Championships. 9-ball in 06 and 07, Line won 9-4 and 7-2, and now victory in 14-1 too!!!

GREAT LINE!! I am proud of you.

All the way now!

Perhaps 14-1 and 8 ball are Line's best as she has 4 gold - 1-14.1, 2 - 8 ball - 1 - 9 ball ; but to beat Jazz in 14.1 says something - it seems like there is a continual pace in EPC that is is not there in WPBA - in other words - there are not long gaps between games - so if you get in stroke you can stay in stroke .

I don't know. Looks like Ralf's not happy with the ref's decision... I don't know what happened, was fixing me some food.

Yeah - I was eating mine !

Looks like they are all happy little campers now though.

Does anyone know how long this run is? I tuned in when he was at the table 58-50.

For anyone who isn't watching it is 101-50 now. Ralf looks like he may finish off the match from here. But there is still 24 balls to go and anything can happen.

Sorry Cameron - nope.

Been switching between two windows - table 3 & 5. Andreas & Ivica = TIGHT match 113-110

(and now the Arsenal match is on TV I'll be using the eyes in the back of my head to see that one too)

Well it's at least a 60 ball run. And judging from his position on the break ball it will be 75 and out (at least).

Ivica Putnik beat Andreas Roschkowsky, another strong German player by 125-113 scoreline.

Silver medal secured!

On to finals against Ralf I suppose!

Go Line !

Any guesses on the final score ?

No wonder nobody watches 14.1.The speed of Ralf is unbearable. With 4 balls on the table he keeps walking around the table...
If Putnik doesnt go crazy he is a hero.
