Travis,
Congratulations on yet another award, I know that you know exactly where you can put it.

Accustats has tapes for some 14.1 players getting 100+. They and Phil Capellie"s (sp?) book titled Play Your Best Straight Pool are the best learning tools around as you see how the runs are managed. Phil Capelli has a fansastic ability to put the entire game in words as he covers everything from the mental aspect to saftey play and everything in between. His book is without a doubt the best I have ever read and his ability to use words to teach the game is fanastic.

Even if a person does not play 14.1 his book is required reading if one is to get the most out of their ability to play. I have read many books over the years and will say that I learned more from his book than all the others put togather.

Hope this helps.

I second this, read the book. Try the concepts. Use his words to build your own framework. I wish I had six months to devote to the game, with this book as guidline.

Straight pool players rock, they are so much more open with info and supportive of each other.

Scott look me up if you ever get to Indy would love to play some with you

instead of trying to play straight pool maybe you should take your cuetec and shove it up your arse.

Iwill if I get there I will but right now I hae two at UT is it expensive. Thanks for the kind words. If you ever come to Houston the same offer goes. Just post a few days before. I'll take yuo out for anice meal.

I wanna chime in too

Learn how to separate sentences and type like an 8 year old, versus a 2 year old.

How about we match up some and the loser never comes back to this site again, ever.
