Tap on the 9 ball with a stick and fist bump.

Like I just got my ppv purchased for tomorrow and was happy to see this but yeah….seems to be Alex Pagulayan and Joshua Filler for the finals for 9 ball which means Fedor gets done before dinner on championship Sunday.

on one hand i get it; it's almost 3am, filler was up 5-1 and in that mode everyone of his peers recognize by now (not missing), fedor was tired and have two finals tomorrow. on the other hand, there's spectators, PPV watchers, sponsors, people betting.. it's not a good look with regards to that

pretty wild. No clue what is going through his mind of course but just wonder why even start the match only to concede 4-5 games in.
I can only guess he wanted to give it a quick try to see if he could *win* a fast easy match and when it became clear he would either lose or be in a battle for a win he preferred to get the extra sleep. MOT is locked up aswell.

It looks like Filler has "broken" the 9-Ball break under these conditions. He's breaking from his left corner of the break box, making the wing ball nearly every time, sending the 1-ball up table near the head pocket to his left, and leaving the cue ball near the head rail for an easy shot on the 1-ball. With this start, he had 11 B&Rs on 13 breaks against SVB and Gorst in his last two matches.

Of course, his pocketing and position play were phenomenal.

Fedor conceded recently because of vertigo as I recall ( someone remund me). Maybe that was bothering him.again.

If he just passed on trying to get to the 9 ball finals for any other reason than health, it's a bad look.

People paid for the stream.
People bet on the match.
Now it's apparent as can be Josh Filler is the better rotation player ( which was not a certainty).

alex had the break figured out too, ran a 5-pack or something like that against fedor. it's not a simple solution. they can't go full WNT with tight tables because it's a pro-am and because of the banks etc. and the race is already long enough. so the 9-ball is gonna be prone to this

The way Filler was playing, it would have been less than 20 more minutes to the end of the match.
Unless he was truly ill, it makes no sense to me to see him quit. That's why he's there and he could run out the set himself.

I'm a donkey and ran a 7 pack for a $10 set once.
