Streaming the World Chinese Pool Championship from China

Yang Fan is a pool assassin!

Well, he just assassinated Jayson Shaw 13-9 even though he was successful on only 1 of 11 breaks (versus 6 of 11 for Jayson).

Total B&R's in the match = 1 (by Jayson).

So Jayson will now have a playoff match for 3rd/4th.

Final

MEN'S FINAL -Race to 21 (2 sessions 1pm local/1am Eastern & 7pm local/7am Eastern)
Yang Fan(CHN) Chu Bingjie(CHN)

WOMEN'S FINAL-Race to 17 (2 sessions 10am local/10pm Eastern & 4pm local/4am Eastern)
Fu Xiaofang(CHN) v Yu Jinpeng(CHN)

Yang Fan and Fu Xiaofang are favorites to win
The surprise is Xiaofang who got married and came back after a break from pool. She beat big guns like Chen Siming ,Kelly Fisher and also Yu in earlier round on way to final. Yang Fan is probably the best C8B player in China so no surprise that he is in final.

Cool. Thanks!

The one that actually looks like a woman has the worst shot selection I've ever seen at this level of pool

And i can understand playing slop on solids and strips but on the 8 ball? That's crazy. I guess it's like snooker - all flukes count

They're going to need an extra hour or two past the next session to get one of them to 17.

Fu is up 8-3 after slopping in the 8 ball in the wrong pocket! No called pockets so she got the game win. Race to 17, with (I think) five games left before they take a break.

It was supposed to START 15 minutes from now!

Edit -- looks like score is actually 5-1 now (Yu ahead of Fu), so they probably started about an hour ago or so.

No, the men's first session is what starts at 1:00 AM Eastern

This women's match started at 10:00 PM Eastern and resumes at 4:00 AM

Now they are showing replays of earlier games to fill in the time (I guess)

OK; thanks. The bracket I looked at showed the finals for both the men and women starting about now.

I made a typo, it was Yu who was/is leading.

Now the stream shows the men's final starting, 0-0 in a race to 21. The level of play on the men's side is much higher...
