The 4 PM round has Strickland playing Archer. I hope they put this one on the live stream!

File one more to, "Why no one watches pool".

Why would anyone honor his request to not play on a specific table?

You should play where you are assigned, end of story.

tap tap tap...exactly such a shame to not see this match earls request should carry no weight last time i checked he wasnt the tournament director

Doubt the players signed a contract before playing in the tourney that they would appear on a televised table , if they had i'm sure the promter would hold them to it . It might be something promoters should look into in the future. Then players could decide whether they wanted to participate , or not.

Hope he doesn't make it to the finals. Might get boring watching the cameras pointed at the crowd...

It has always been our policy to honor player requests concerning the stream table unless it is the final day. Earl says he will play on the stream if he is playing on Sunday.

The point here is not legal, all players have appeared on stream tables in the past. You know going in that there is a live stream for the event. So if Earl or anyone else for that matter is in the finals they can prevent it from being streamed?

Put him on the table and if he does not show he gets a forfeit. Period.

The next time I go to Turning stone I am going to request a certain table, lets see how far this gets me. This is the same reson that top regional players show up late to tournaments, get early byes and can be late to matches. These top players act like gods and have absolutely no leverage in the real world. Promoters and tournament directors succumb to their tantrums and shortcomings for what reason I still have yet to determine.

Why bother playing hardball? At this point, I see no purpose in not honoring his request, if an acceptable offerring is available to stream.

I agree w/ Zuglan, et. al's stance.

So,...who's is be-en on the stream then?

Just be glad they didn't seed the tournament , i hear what you are saying , was just talking about how the promoter could deal with things like this.

Go back and read what Jerry posted-

"It has always been our policy to honor player requests concerning the stream table unless it is the final day."

Love how the live steam keeps moving the camera to see the Earl match now that he is putting packages down. Not sure which match is getting more attention. Good thing Earl objected to being on the table, now I get to watch half of each match.

Sad thing is that Earl does not know how to win or lose gracefuly.... Nice win for him none the less. Congrats....
