I love her style, last year sho lost to Jasmine in the finals…
Win or lose, her style of play makes pool much more enjoyable to watch.

Sorry to be a downer but 8 ball is boring as hell. Should be banned from all pool rooms and all tournaments. I was able to watch like 3 min total. End rant.
9ball can be boring as well, depends on the formats and who plays.
A good match of 8ball is great to watch but to each his own

Boring to watch? Sure, I can see that. But many would disagree that it's boring to play. People enjoy it for many reasons, including the added layer of thinking (patterns, shot selection etc.) required over rotation games.
In general (and steering a bit offtopic), I'm happy with any discipline gaining popularity that promotes heavy thinking. Most of the next generation will be half braindead within 10 years from all their social media/AI overdosing, so might as well push a bit against it.
Some enjoy pool as a purely intuitive/fast sport, while some enjoy to think more. Both are fundamentally fine, just a matter of preference. Catering towards masses in maximizing views will always favor faster games though.
9-ball and 10-ball are better for spectators because the next object ball is dictated by the rules. Spectators don't need to know much about playing to follow the game and see the next shot before it's made.
8-ball adds variables for additional strategy. It's often more challenging to play safe, since the opponent has up to seven different object balls to shoot at. Using all fifteen balls means the table is more crowded. Consequently, the player with the fewest balls on the table is basically losing until they have a legal, makable shot on the 8. Dropping six balls and missing the last remaining ball of the set (i.e., solids or stripes) is a great way to lose the rack. Not every player has the discipline to refrain from dropping any balls until they see the potential to run out in a single inning.
The very aspects of 8-ball that make it more challenging to play make it less fun to watch. Only good players can see the potential runout sequence, and even they often see a different sequence than the pro at the table attempts.

Most people that are not into the fame seriously play occasionally 8ball, so for them, following 8ball is more natural.
American get bored fast, that’s why 9ball was picked up for pro tournaments, straight pool was too boring and too slow for TV (ABC wide world of sport) so they switched to 9ball. 8ball is a much more sophisticated game and usually the better player wins, no luck.

The foul she just committed at 6-6 was from a lack of patience. She should have regrouped, chose another shot, and figured out a way to get on the correct side of that ball later in the rack.
