Stuckart vs Bad Company live right now

I missed the last set and a half as I was playing some pre-TG-caloric intake tennis. :)

Did Jerry catch a gear? I heard him say in the second set he'd never played on 4.25" pockets, and it seemed that it had gotten into his head and his stroke. Did he get more comfortable as time went by? Is set 5 in the works?

Hey guys! Thanks for following the stream on posts on here. Thank you to Jude for taking the match on short notice. We've been meaning to play for a long time.

I'm rated an 8 in AZ and Jude is a 7. But that is a little deceiving as I was moved to this rating as a Barbox 8-ball player. Anyone around the state would say that I'm not an 8 on the big table, but oh well, I got to learn sometime right!

I made the drive to Jude's home room and played on his favorite table. As you could see in the first 2 sets I was completely sharked by the fast table and 4 1/4" pockets. In both sets I gave Jude 2 or 3 games without him having to shoot more than a ball. And in each set he made the 8 on the break atleast once. In the 2nd set down 8 - 2 I started to finally get the feel of the table and put together 3 racks before losing the set.

I stormed out in the next set and was finally relaxed. I was up 4 - 1 then 6 - 2 before cruising to a 9 - 3 win. Jude's last game in that set was after I ran the table and came around after making the 7 ball to shoot the 8 in the same pocket and scratched.

In the final set I continued to stay loose and jumped out 3 - 0, then 4 - 1 before pushing it to a 6 - 1 score. This is when I got a little lazy. At 6 - 2 I missed 2 balls to make it 6 - 3. In the next game I ran the table down to a long straight in shot on the 9 ball and got sharked by someone opening the front door and getting blasted by the sun. That was a pivotal game so instead of being up 7 - 3 I was only up 6 - 4. We then each traded racks back and forth and I got to the hill first at 8 - 6. I broke dry and Jude ran out to make it 8 - 7. I had 2 chances in the next rack and the tight pockets got me. I slow rolled the 6 and bobbled it and left it in the jaws with 3 easy shots left. Jude somehow missed and left me a medium cut on the 8 ball and I pushed it short.

At Hill-hill, Jude broke them wide open and left the 9 ball in front of the corner pocket about 2 inches from going in. He had a long back cut across the table on the 1 to make the 9 and I'm not sure how it didn't go in. I had a weird 1 ball then to try and hold for the 2 and ended up down table hooked. I had to masse to hit the 2 - 6 combo and then had to bank the 2 cross side to get shape on the 3. I was able to drill the 3 into the 9 for the win.

It was a great match and I wish I could have played a 5th set. Fortunately for me I have 2 jobs, a wife and a 2 and 4 year old at home. I wish I would have played better in the 1st two sets, but I think I owe that to not playing the past month or so.

On a good note, my Simonis 860HR that I ordered from BigTruck was sitting on my empty slate of a pool table when I got home. My table has been apart for 2+ months as we moved into a new house. Hopefully in the coming weeks I can get someone qualified enough to put it together for me. (RealKingCobra is too busy for me :( )

During the 3rd Set we had an average of about 175 viewers at one time and a total of over 6,100 visitors which was pretty amazing IMO.

Jude we'll definitely give it another go sometime. And the standing offer of 2 games on the wire in a race to 9 in barbox 8-ball is always open.

There is going to be a new Sheriff in town, with the Crown..... Come first of the year.......

Thanks for this link. Is this live now ? If so what time did they start?

I guess so...(Since I don't think any of you want to come to T town)

I have been playing once, (sometimes twice) in the local tournys.... a week. No practicing at all.

I'm pretty rusty....but I'm sure I can shake it off.

Hopefully I'll come up B4 the Derby...if not, after.
