Stupid Question about the BCA in Sin City

Leaving Wednesday, so when I get there to Sin City, do i got to the Convention Center, or the Rivera for the BCA thing....

Apprently it is off the SAHARA Exit of the Interstate?

For anyone going from the airport to the Riviera, have the cab take you down Paradise road. I have had them take friends of mine to the interstate and even had one cab driver try to take me and a friend from the Stardust, down the strip, on a busy Saturday night, back to the airport. I have friends who just tell the cab driver when they get in, how big a tip they get, whether it's $2 or $5, so they know they won't get any extra by running up the bill. Good luck, Sam

We usually stay at Harrah's when we go to Vegas. It will cost about $15 with TIP included. We are not rookies and one of the new drivers decided to pull the freeway thing. I took his number and also complained about it to the Door Captain that we have befriended thru the years. He told us that what we did is the right thing to do and he will take care of it. If you feel you are getting the RD tell the Door Captain and they will handle it by reporting the violation and also by not letting that driver into their pick up line.

The Riv is a little further down the road so it will be more.

Here is a link with some info

As a Vegas Airport newbie, can you give me the skinny on what to tell the cab driver when the destination is Treasure Island?

Much thanks-

I'd check google earth, but paradise->Swenson->paradise->sands ave sounds about right.

BTW, everyone double check google earth if you havent, i just noticed they have updated sat photo's including the Wynn and golf course now. In addition the new place in between Riv and Sah.

Only thing is that now they did it in the morning so many buildings have a huge shadow whereas before they didnt.

Btw, how much is a good flat rate to tip for both AIrport->strip and strip->strip cab rides?

The cheapest way to the hotels that I've found is via shuttle bus. As you exit the airport there should be ticket counters for the shuttle services. It's been a couple of years but I think that it was something like 5 bucks per person to get to the Riviera. They drop you off at the front desk.

If your staying there have them take you to the front desk entrance on the side or underneath the casino.

If your just going there for the event and are staying elsewhere come off
of paradise from behind the Riv and valet back there or have the cab drop you off back there.
Theres a back Valet and a front one. The back one is at the entrance to the action. Use it instead of self parking as a couple buck tip is
worth it and all that is needed.

Satman is correct about coming from the airport.

Something a friend of mine does that I dont is when he is at the airport he will try and see if others are going to the airport and will share a ride with them. He wont try for long but he usually finds a couple people. Of course he is there when pool is going on and that helps.
