i dont know when i am ever going to learn. i hose up soooo many runouts by ignorance, and being out of position by about an inch at times.

below is a spread i had earlier tonight. the kind that makes my eyes light up, i dont get chances like this too often. so, what do i do? without paying any attention i shoot the cue ball into the corner pocket.

I dont know what is wrong with me sometimes...........

Dude, all you do is complain! Quit the game and die! For some reason I'm totally indignant that you've posted about a shot you didn't play well even though I chose to go out of my way to click on and read your thread! Just go practice!

The first poster is not DCP. He was making a joke.
 
Although I think DCPs posts are often tiring(I almost never click on them anymore) I do think it's a shame that someone who is obviously spending a lot of energy trying to learn the game we all love is constantly ridiculed for trying to get some insight into his problems.

Perhaps it's time to give the guy a break eh? We were all in his shoes at one time. (even if we didn't post ever single last one of our botched run out attempts on-line for the world to see)

I agree, in large part, with what you've said here. If you don't like his threads, don't read them. That being said, I think most people have a problem with the fact that he never listens to the advice and that he sought out instruction from Mark Wilson and promptly dismissed most of the changes that Mark suggested.

As someone smarter than I once said, "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten!"

no not sarcasm i'm still kinda new to the forum and i didn't know the situation with dcp. hope he works his problems out

I know, I've seen on some of his threads AZ members making generous offers of books and all sorts of really good advice and he's still ignored it. Which is why I ignore his posts.

My concern is mostly that if some new member were to read these posts they would be more reluctant to ask for help in thier game because of the treatment DCPs incessant posts have illicited.

I think the 8 ball must be lodged in the drywall about eye level .... THAT's the problem DCPP, you gotta throw it harder so it goes completely through the drywall !
