Sub Forum for WEI shots only

I'd like to see a sub forum where we can post WEI shots. They would be all in one place so users can look at them and try them out easier. Is there a way to search WEI shots? Just a suggestion.

Hal, if you or anyone else wants to start collecting a list of proposition shots, I'd be happy to set up a section of my website especially for it.

I'd want the ones with clear diagrams. Also, I'd want to put up a jpeg pic so it's easy to see and the WEI code so people can open it in Wei and make adjustments.

Sure, I got you now. A forum category here, just dedicated to threads discussing proposition type shots using wei table.

Makes some sense. I just wonder if I would check it often. I usually only look at the Main Forum. But I do like some of those threads so could adjust my habits.

Good Idea ...

I like the idea too. It would serve as an area oriented
more towards being classified as 'personal instruction',
especially for newcomers and novices to Pool. A person
could even print out a layout, take it to their favorite
billiard room and set the layout up on a table, and shoot
the shot(s) various ways recommended to see the
actual results in person. It helps make a connection
for a player to actually learn something instead of just
being told it.

I'm all for it .... Good idea...

That goofy index I started is essentially a list of threads with WEI diagramed shots, with a few text only maybe. Anyway, I still intend on going through the other threads, and will note if they contain WEI shots. Maybe this will help find the suckers. In general I think this is a great idea.

I love the idea, but it's NOT proposition shots that interest me. Shots that illustrate important principles of the game, or shots that occurred in actual games of either posters or professionals are where my interest lies. Ultimately, the most interesting shots are the ones that come from positions where shot selection is tricky, and more than one choice may be reasonable. Shots requiring huge strokes, or shots that would be illogical choices in the positions presented are, in my view, far less interesting.

I'd like to see position shots, caroms, etc. Anything to provide more knowledge of the game. Unlike sjm, though I also like stroke shots.
