Sugar Tree Cue

Just to interject for a minute.

Josh your missing the chance at a Real buyer here by giving Tom a smart a$$ answer. As long as your price was semi-realistic you just missed a sale. Tom is not a window shopper in my personal experiance.

I was not being smart on my reply. He asked if there was a price or did he overlook it. I simply said he overlooked it. I said looking for trade offers in the original post. I certainly wouldn't be rude to anyone that may be a potential deal. So it was taken wrong.

I was not being funny or did I mean it to sound that way.

Feel free to PM me with a cash offer if your wanting to purchase by cash Tom.

Please let's not run over the thread.. However, I do not think I'm the only one who knows the round about value on the cue. If you know what his cues sell for, Know what makers charge for ivory rings, ivory joints, and ivory butt plates, Then it's easy to get an idea.. No offense, Please dont take it that way. and PM's are easy to send.

No offense to your sale, JOSH. It is a very nice cue, and worth every penny you are asking for it. IT IS A SUGARTREE, WITH IVORY!!!! Good luck on your trade/sale, it shouldn't be here long.

I am usually not one to comment on stuff like this, but recently it has been a pet peeve of mine, and I thought I should speak up.
Trade value is quite an interesting creature. Why ask anybody their "trade value" on something they are offering up on the boards?? Value is subjective - What one person will pay and what another will sell something for determines if a sale is made - as long as both parties' thinking is the same. It works the same for trades on cues. It doesn't matter as to value - as long as the buyer and seller meet eye to eye on the deal. So with that said, offer a cue for trade, and if the buyer deems it up to his need or want for his cue, then a trade will be made. Not attacking anybody specific, but I just seem to be seeing these questions from many people more and more, and I JUST DON'T GET IT!!
What stops the original poster of the cue for trade from asking able traders what they consider the trade value of their offer? It could go around in circles, with no end in site.
In the end, offer the poster something, and see what happens from there - just make sure you are OK with what you offer, since that person might take you up on it.
