Sugartree Ebony Titlist conversion - wrapless

Thanks for the pics. This is probably the nices wrapless Titlist conversion I have ever seen. It is weird how different colors in the cue itself make the difference in overall appeal. Someone else recently posted a Titlist conversion with an added maple butt sleeve that I really didn't care for.
I love the simple but elegant splice in the butt sleeve. However, for this cue, I think there may be some loss if the maple in the butt sleeve does not match the patina of the forearm.

All Titlist blanks were not created equally! Also, what is appropriate for a Titlist conversion (or any other cue) is totally a matter of personal preference. I just picked up my first Titlist conversion that did NOT have a hoppe ring, and I love it - never thought I would be able to say that.

I agree with the maple buttsleeve thing - I think the buttsleeve wood should match the points, but I think that is true for any cue - JMO

Eric...

Eric does tremendous work!!! I have a cue in the works from Eric right now that will hopefully be completed soon. Ill post a thread when I receive the cue.

Pics

These pics were posted last November. But yes, this is a very nice looking cue. I e-mailed and asked how much this cue cost and was told last year that if the Titlist blank was supplied and with the butterfly splices, ivory and 2 shafts; it would cost around $800.
