>>>>> Sugartree -- Last Cue Out of Eric's Shop (Delivered on December 1, 2012) <<<<<<
As many of you know, in early September of this year, Eric posted a thread here on AZ wherein he informed the cue world that he was suspending the making of cues indefinitely. Sad news indeed. In July 2012, Eric told me about an unfinished African Blackwood and Redheart (it looks a lot like Tulipwood) cue that had been in an unfinished state for a couple of years. I told him that I would love to get the cue and he promised it to me. Eric delivered it to me last Saturday (12/1/12). I could not be more pleased with this simple 3 ring Sugartree. It plays lights out. I'm playing with it (the original shafts remain unchalked) until Eric completes my 8 point Hickory Burl into Ebony cue, which he has started and promised to complete between semesters. It will be a monter with recuts and 15,000 year old whale bone. Thanks, Eric!!!
