Deadon you've got #38
223tracer you've got #7
Good luck...

NineBall...you should get a spot:)

11 spots left...

We're only 11 spots away from filling this thing up...
I've had three different people inquire about a straight up sale
but as we're rather deep into this raffle I'd like to see it fill up.
I'll give it another day and we'll see where it stands.

Terry- I'm heading out to Chicago this morning. I will take the computer and try to get on later as far as payment is concerned. If it gets to that point and I haven't been able to, it's your call, use an alternate or whatever.

I can assure you and everyone else signed up I'm good for the money. If I'm unable to log on at some point, it will be Wednesday, late evening, before I'll be back.

Thanks, Cory

That's what I'm trying to do!:grin-square:

This is a major concern for me. When this same person, Ms Mickey, won one of your earlier raffles, I couldn't find her here to congratulate here.

Opening this up to "friends" who are not AZer is unacceptable, in my book. Not a reflection of you personally, but that really opens the door to corruption.

One could, theoretically, have a few of their friends "buy slots", then if they win they could, theoretically, tell their friend to keep the cue. That money never rally exchanged hands. So you get all the other raffle money and the cue.

The entire purpose of doing these in this format, with AZers publicly committing to buy slots, was to avoid this exact problem.

Selling raffle slots to friends off of AZ. Wow. There goes the entire check & balance system that we had, be it ever so fragile.

I retract my 2 slots. Please open up #9 and 21 to someone else.

No problem...I'll take you off the raffle. Your conspiracy theory however, doesn't make any sense. Who cares who buys a slot in this raffle, AZ member or not? Do you personally know someone who would win a raffle and then tell the person running the raffle to keep the cue? I don't. What you are suggesting is ridiculous. If I had a $4200 cue and decided to sell spots for $100 and bought 21 of them myself, yes I would have a 50% chance of winning the raffle but I would also have a 50% chance of having to give the cue to someone for $2100. The bottom line is this...you still have to match the red ball to win. There is no Tom Foolery going on in my raffles. I will however pass along your congratulations to Mickey.

I went back and did a little research on my first three raffles.
The first raffle I had six spots taken by "friends" and AZ member Highlanduh won the raffle.
The second raffle I had twelve spots taken by "friends" and AZ member showtruck2020 won the raffle.
The third raffle I had eight spots taken by "friends" and yes finally...someone I know won.
It had nothing to do with my "knowing" that person...it was all about picking the winning number. So how people can suggest there is anything "shady" going on is absolutely ridiculous. If I could cheat the Powerball, it wouldn't be for a cue raffle...I'd make it more like $35 million.
