Hey guys, just hoping to get some advice. My dad has about 22 custom cues he needs to sell and I'm helping him do it on the net. I'm wondering what the best way to set it up here is? Should we put all them in one post? Or separate them out individually? There's about 66 pictures (3ea). What would be the best way to display all these pictures?

Really appreciate any input or advice! Thanks!

I like to see them in groups of about 5 that keeps the file transfer size small also it's easier to download and upload. I also like them identified with a numbered pool ball or maybe a piece of paper that size with a big dark number on it, that way you always know which cue it is. Nice cues seem to sell pretty well here, I would post them here in the For sale wanted forum first before going to ebay which can be a catastrophy if you don't know whats going on. The better the photos the better chance they will sell also have the butt weights shaft weights and sizes in the info.
Good Luck

You could post your pictures of each simply as links from a place like Photobucket - any of several places that let you have a free album.

I would put no more than two cues in each thread along with their full specs, pricing, and picture links. A common keyword (something unusual) at the end of each of your posts would allow a quick search to find all your listings.

Hey, thanks fellas! Appreciate the help.

How bout this one...... There are 2 cues that he can't for the life of him remember who they are, what are the chances of someone being able to ID them? Neither of them have any type of marking on them that we noticed. He swears one of them is a Thomas Wayne but he has no proof. And the other one is a mystery.

Anywho, thanks again guys!

I would suggest grouping them by price range. Put maybe 5 cues with pictures that are roughly the same price range in a for sale thread in the Wanted/For Sale section of the forums. If you have any high end/rare/stand out cues I would probably give them their own for sale post. If you have any unknown cues that need to be identified, post their pictures (complete with joint pictures and butt pictures with bumper removed) in the "ask the cuemaker" section for the best response (imo).

I like the idea of 2 to 3 cues max per thread. Too much info all at once gets a little confusing, IMO. Of course, you know to post them in the 'for sale' forum. I'm mentioning this since I see you are new here. Welcome to azb, by the way.

As for the two cues your dad isn't sure of, post pics here asking for help id'ing them. If that doesn't get them id'd, then maybe those two can be sold as unknowns.

Remember, the more info in your ads the better. Length, weight (shafts & butts, seperate & total), are they straight both together and apart, pin sizes, dings, dents, scratches, brand of tips if known, ferrule material, etc.

And good quality pics!

Good luck with your sales.

Best,
Brian kc
